TIROTEX EVALUATED THE RESULTS OF ITS PARTICIPATION IN THE PROJECT “BUY TRANSNISTRIAN”

For two years now, the flagship of light industry has been participating in the Buy Transnistrian project, which was initiated by the Republican Chamber of Commerce and organized with the participation of the Government of the PMR, ministries, departments and state administrations of cities and districts of the republic. This year, the sales season project started on May 26 and ended on October 27. Tirotex opened retail outlets for the sale of textile products in 7 cities - in Bendery, Dnestrovsk, Slobodzeya, Rybnitsa, Kamenka, Grigoriopol and Dubossary.
Sales figures remained at the same level as last year. The most popular collection was Your Style, both printed and one-colored versions. It should be noted that this range of products is gaining popularity among buyers...

GENERAL DIRECTOR OF TIROTEX TEXTILE COMPANY VISITED KAZAKHSTAN

The fulfillment of contractual obligations for the supply of cotton became the main topic of business negotiations of A.V. Mezhinsky with Central Asian partners. The CEO of the flagship of the light industry of Transnistria personally saw and supervised the process of the harvesting campaign in South Kazakhstan. Andrei Mezhinsky inspected the fields, where a massive collection of “white gold” was taking place, and also visited cotton receiving points and cotton processing factories, where the raw material was cleared from bolls and trash and turned into cotton fiber. After this, overcoming about 7 thousand kilometers along the roads of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia and Ukraine in heavyweight trucks, or more than 4.5 thousand km by rail, cotton fiber will arrive in Transnistria
As the head of Tirotex noted: "Cotton is harvested twice. Now is the end of the first season..."

TIROTEX CONTINUES FULFILLING A PILOT PROJECT ON GROWING “WHITE GOLD”

A project on growing domestic cotton in Pridnestrovie, which has been implemented for two years, is no longer a secret. It is the first major project in this segment in our region for the last almost 70 years. The initiator and the investor of this experimental production is Tirotex Textile Company. First there was made a research on the possibility of growing cotton in the territory of our republic. During the whole season the specialists were testing seeds delivered from different suppliers from Central Asia countries and Europe. Now it is time of taking the cotton crop and carrying on an in-depth analysis of physical and mechanical parameters of cotton fiber.

Heimtextil Russia is an international exhibition of home textiles and fabrics for interior decoration, which is annually organized at the end of September. The leading professional exhibition of the textile industry was held in Moscow for the 20th time. The Transnistrian company – Tirotex - has been taking part there for six years in a row.
The exposition of Tirotex displayed on the leading industry business platform attracted not only current and potential customers from the Russian Federation, but also partners from Europe. About 100 different companies visited the booth of Tirotex during three exhibition days. Most of them were interested in the powerful production capacity of Tirotex and the high quality of the product. COTTON GROWN IN TRANSNISTRIA

Once the countries of Central Asia were identified as the northernmost regions for cultivation of cotton, the birthplace of which is the tropical regions of Asia, Africa and America. The theory was confirmed by empirical studies, or rather, the unsuccessful experience of cultivation of this crop in the former republics of the Soviet Union located to the north. By the way, in the 50s of the last century, in the Moldavian SSR in Ceadir-Lunga, and even earlier in the south of Ukraine, they also tried to master the fertile lands of black soil for growing cotton. However, then the idea became a failure, and the experiment was quickly cut down.
More than 60 years have passed since then, and agriculture has stepped far forward, new modern technologies, new means of protection of products against pests and diseases, new varieties adapted to the moderate continental climate...

«TIROTEX SUCCESSFULLY PASSED CERTIFICATION AUDIT

The international certifying agency TUV CERT conducted an inspection audit at Tirotex for compliance with the international ISO 9001 standard, version of 2015. This year the ISO 9001 standard, on the basis of which Tirotex operates, marks the 20th anniversary. Till now Tirotex was certified according to ISO 9001: 2008 version. Since the enterprise always strives to maintain the high quality of all aspects of its activities, it was decided to move to a new version of the standard. A significant amount of work was done: setting quality objectives, internal audits, the latest terminology, assessing the risks of each process, timely corrective actions to improve processes, SWOT analysis (determining the strengths and weaknesses of each process)...
