Products of Tirotex are well known and loved far abroad precisely for their high quality. Its level is annually evaluated by a variety of expert commissions - both international certification bodies and specialists from local specialized organizations.
The outcome of the outgoing year was a key event among the representatives of the Pridnestrovian business community - the ceremony of awarding the winners of the anniversary Pridnestrovian quality contest. Once again Tirotex reaffirmed its leadership in the Industrial Products nomination, and the enterprise took the “Project Leader” award for its permanent resident participation in the “Buy Pridnestrovian” fair.

TIROTEX HAS BECOME A BCI MEMBER

BCI (BETTER COTTON INITIATIVE) is an international organization for the improvement of cotton, which advocates improving the quality of cotton production methods, including those aimed at protecting the environment and human health. BCI guarantees control over the use of improved cotton at all stages of textile production - from cotton growing to its processing into finished products. Now, whent Tirotex has become one of the key members of BETTER COTTON INITIATIVE, it has committed itself to supporting the global mission of the international organization: to abide by a set of rules in accordance with the Membership Principles.
Joining the BCI will allow Tirotex to further strengthen its position in the European, and in particular Swedish, sales market, which places orders for mass production and works exclusively with BCI members...

TIROTEX HAS SUCCESSFULLY PASSED ISO CERTIFICATIO

Let us remind that last year the managers and internal auditors of Tirotex took training under the ISO 9001 program of the latest version of 2015, and then successfully passed an inspection audit by the international auditing agency TUV CERT for compliance with the international standard of the quality management system. Thus, today the textile company has been operating under the ISO certificate for more than 20 years. And the latest version of the quality management system is 9001: 2015, which is still the only one in the whole of Pridnestrovie and is implemented only at Tirotex. This week, the auditor of the international certification company Yuri Popescu conducted an external recertification audit in all divisions of the textile enterprise. Its results were announced today at a final meeting with general director Andrei Mezhinsky Mezhinsky and the internal auditors...

HARVESTING OF PRIDNESTROVIAN COTTON HAS BEEN COMPLETED

According to the preliminary forecast, an average crop yield is at the level of the Middle Asia results. The laboratory confirmed a high quality of cotton: the staple length of fiber is of the 4th type, and the maturity corresponds to the 1st sort. Tirotex purchases cotton with the same characteristics in Middle Asia countries. Now raw cotton is passing the process of cleaning from seeds and other foreign materials, and then cleaned cotton will be used for production of card sliver and yarn. Yet by the end of November it is planned to weave first meters of grey fabric in the weaving section. By the end of the year Tirotex stores will start selling bed sets with a special label confirming that the items were made of domestic cotton...

BELGIUM HOSTED AN INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY SYMPOSIUM

The Pridnestrovian delegation was headed by the executive team of Tirotex in the person of the deputy general director Victor Krondev, the director of the spinning and weaving mill Ivan Damaskin and the production manager Vladislav Politov.
Vandewiele holding turns 140 years old this year. It includes 11 manufacturers of industrial machinery for textile industry, electrotechnologies, robots, etc. They have built an experimental center for demonstration of the latest machinery for production of jacquards, carpets, flooring, velvet, technical cloth, and other materials specially for the company’s anniversary and this industry symposium. More than 800 people from all over the world were invited to this event.

PEAK SEASON OF COTTON HARVESTING IN PRIDNESTROVIE

It is the third year of the pilot project of Tirotex on cultivation of “white gold” in Pridnestrovie. As last year the results of investigation were most promising, it was decided to use larger cultivation area. The crop of the current season was good and stable, and Tirotex’ suppliers from Middle Asia confirm the same results. Thus, the seed material (the industrial grade) developed for our climatic conditions.
The harvested crop is currently delivered for primary processing to Tiraspol, where it passed ginning procedure at Tirotex. Ginning is a process of separation of fiber from the box, seeds and other waste. Then cleaned cotton will be transported to the spinning-and-weaving mill to be used for production of first meters of fabrics. The designers of the Design Center...

CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF THE CDFT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION VISITED TIROTEX.

The Chairman of the Board of the Council for the Development of Foreign Trade and International Economic Relations of the Russian Federation visited Tiraspol within the framework of the “Russian Trade Project” in order to conduct business negotiations with leaders of Pridnestrovian exporting companies. Among those invited to attend the meeting was the Deputy of the Supreme Council of the PMR – General Director of Tirotex Textile Company. The parties discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the field of industrial production, as well as strengthening economic ties with Russia. The 18th International Exhibition of Textile Machinery ITMA-2019 completed its work in Barcelona (Spain). The long-awaited event is always held in different cities every four years. The international exhibition platform collects the largest manufacturers from all countries of the world. Little wonder that the exhibition is known among specialists as the “textile Olympiad”. According to preliminary estimates, the exhibition was presented by more than 1,500 exhibitors from 45 countries, and the number of visitors exceeded 100,000 from 140 countries.
A delegation from Pridnestrovie represented by Andrey Mezhinsky, Director General of Tirotex Company, Oleg Pashchenko, Director of Finishing Factory, and Vladislav Politov, Chief Technologist of the company, also took part in this event....

Again an international award from Chisinau was taken by Tirotex. The textile company annually receives prestigious for its successful professional activity. This time was no exception. The Pridnestrovian manufacturer took several international awards in Chisinau on the eve of its professional holiday - the Day of Light Industry.
The activities of Tirotex were evaluated by the contest experts in two nominations: “Trademark of the Year”, as well as “Competition for the prize for quality”. The result of the evaluation by the competent members of the jury was granting of the highest and most authoritative business awards - “Golden Mercury” and “Goddess of Quality”.

SOCIAL AUDIT AS A METHOD OF INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ENTERPRISE

For its 45 years, Tirotex Textile Company has gained a reputation as a manufacturer of high-quality products and a reliable supplier of goods to the largest European customers, which, of course, says about a high level of service and customer focus. In many ways, this is facilitated by various tools for assessing the reliability of the company as a business partner, to which, among other things, the successful conduct of social audits by various competent international bodies is attributed.
The new 2019 was no exception. At all production sites, Tirotex has been tested by international experts on the observance of the BSCI and WALT DISNEY codes of conduct. The audits were conducted by specialists of the branches of INTERTEK (British company) and SGS (Swiss company)...

RESULTS OF THE INTERNATIONAL HEIMTEXTIL EXHIBITION 2019

The International Specialized Exhibition of Textiles and Products for Interior Decoration Heimtextil -2019 has completed its work in Frankfurt on the Main (Germany). The exhibition is held annually on the first days of the new year, and therefore represents the global trends of the upcoming spring-summer season. The always spectacular and up-to-date exposition of Tirotex textile products has consistently attracted a large professional audience. Over 100 professional visitors of the exhibition - representatives from Europe, Asia and America - appreciated the best collections of new fabric structures, printed materials both in rotary and panel conventional and digital printing (Tirotex has two digital printing machines for 16 and 32 printing heads), various types of final finishings - silk protein, aloe vera, vitamins, silver ion finishing, etc...
