The Chairman of the Board of the Council for the Development of Foreign Trade and International Economic Relations of the Russian Federation visited Tiraspol within the framework of the “Russian Trade Project” in order to conduct business negotiations with leaders of Pridnestrovian exporting companies. Among those invited to attend the meeting was the Deputy of the Supreme Council of the PMR – General Director of Tirotex Textile Company. The parties discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the field of industrial production, as well as strengthening economic ties with Russia. Andrei Mezhinsky invited Maxim Chereshnev to visit the production site of the flagship of the textile industry of Pridnestrovie. At the end of the tour of all three production sites of Tirotex – spinning/weaving, finishing and sewing - the Chairman of the Board of CDFT, Maxim Chereshnev, noted: “Tirotex is a dynamically developing enterprise with the most modern equipment. My own deep conviction is that the high-quality product that the Pridnestrovian manufacturer produces is fully capable of meeting the needs of the Russian consumer in the domestic market. ” As the key topics of the meeting were to unleash the potential of cooperation with the Russian Federation, according to Andrei Mezhinsky: “With appropriate effective support and consolidation of efforts by all participants of the Russian Trade Project, this meeting may give new impetus to business relations between Tirotex and major players of the textile industry of the Russian Federation ".
