Last Sunday Tirotex celebrated its professional holiday. Of course, there were surprises. It is not news that presentations of new collections has already become a good tradition. But there was a place for unexpected news too. During the demonstration of the exposition of the new assortment of textile products to the PMR Government Chairman Alexander Martynov, the General Director of Tirotex, Andrei Mezhinsky, told that the textile enterprise together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the PMR has been working for the second year running on a project for growing cotton in Transnistria. This news was really unexpected and intriguing, since the industrial technology of cotton growing has its own peculiarities and difficulties associated with the geography of its development, namely, the number of sunny days and the fertility of the soil. In our region, such experiments have never been conducted, therefore, in order to commence the implementation of this project in practice on an industrial scale, a textile enterprise needs to study in detail and analyze the features of growing white gold.

As for the new collections presented by Tirotex, they certainly attracted a keen interest on the part of the members of the Government. Three own designer collections were presented at the exposition of Tirotex. The collection "Magic of Sleep" includes two directions - "dream catcher" and "ethnic ornaments". One of the drawings of the collection is made of cotton fabric with an embedding of tencel (eucalyptus fiber) obtained from eucalyptus wood. The feature of this material is an environmentally friendly process of its production. Eucalyptus fiber has a bactericidal effect, strengthens the strength of fabric, makes it shining, while the fabric does not slip. The "Creative" collection was developed by designers to attract the interest of our younger generation - this is modern graphics for the most popular theme of the season - "cats" and "tattoos". The third collection "Air" combined the light summer motifs of the most fashionable shades of blue in combination with snow-white companion drawings. In these collections, emphasis is put on renforce and percale qualities - the most relevant summer fabrics are light, but dense, while air permeable and hygroscopic.

It should be noted the extensive program of the professional holiday, which included the awarding of the best employees of Tirotex with high governmental awards. So, the Order of "Labor Glory" was awarded to the dressing size maker of the Finishing factory, Fedor Babov, the head of the resource planning department, Svetlana Belokon, and the deputy director of the Spinning-and-Weaving factory, Galina Japrintseva. The medal "For Labor Valor" was awarded to the assistant of the master of the weaving workshop, Anatoly Bogachuk, the head of the operational planning center of the Finishing Factory, Irina Voronaya, the deliverer of the finished goods of the Sewing Factory, Vera Matrenitskaya, and the quality engineer, Larissa Shishkanu. Honorary title "Honored Worker of the PMR" was awarded to the foreman at the main production sites, Lyudmila Stepkovetskaya.

A creative gift in the form of a concert program for Tiraspol residents and guests of the capital, as well as for its employees, was prepared by the Culture Center of Tirotex. With great enthusiasm, the audience applauded the dancers and vocalists. Vocal performances were prepared both by the employees of the enterprise and by their children. Creative friends of Tirotex - the exemplary ensemble of folk dance "Victoria", led by the honored culture worker of the PMR, Nina Brynzan, and the vocal ensemble "Khutorianka", danced and singed on the improvised summer stage platform. At the same time, alongside the "farmstead", there was a lively trade in soft drinks, shish kebab and confectionery, prepared by the masters of the culinary and confectionery departments of Tirotex.

In general, the professional holiday of workers and veterans of light industry was a success. It is thanks to them that the population of Transnistria has the opportunity to purchase high-quality locally produced products. After all, today Tirotex is constantly improving the technology of production, expands the range and improves the quality of its products. The general director of the enterprise, Andrey Mezhinsky, summed up the Sunday event: "Today buyers pay tribute to those teams of enterprises that in recent years have gained experience in the conditions of tough competition. It is obvious that the success is accompanied, first of all, by those who timely draw adequate conclusions from the economic situation, who catch the current trends, follow the development of science and technology, modernize production. According to the opinion of the Chairman of the Government of the PMR, Tirotex is in the forefront of the industry today. This appreciation is important for all our employees. For my part, I promise that we will continue to strive to maintain such a high level".
